What We’re Cooking
Chicken drumsticks are at their best price in months, strawberries are under $2, and Fred Meyer's BOGO flank steak is one of those deals that happens a few times a year. With the weather looking slightly rainy, here's what we'd make with all of it this week.
Use this week’s Fred Meyer deal to make some killer tacos that will be a hit you return to time and time again. Marinated flank steak grilled hot, sliced thin, piled into warm corn tortillas with smashed avocado, cotija, and cilantro. It’s simple and affordable.
One sheet pan, four ingredients for the glaze, and dinner handles itself — sticky drumsticks and crispy smashed potatoes, done in just over an hour. You can roast some other hearty veggies like carrots alongside this dish if you want to mix it up.
