Help Track Egg Prices Across Portland: Introducing the Egg Price Tracker

We all know that egg prices have been on a wild ride lately. One week they're affordable, the next week they're practically liquid gold. Sometimes, you can’t even find them in stock. That's why I'm excited to announce Stumptown Savings’ newest community initiative: The Portland Egg Price Tracker.

Why Track Egg Prices?

Eggs are a grocery staple and often a bellwether for overall food inflation. By tracking egg prices across Portland, we can:

• Help you find the best deals in your neighborhood

• Identify price trends over time

• Compare prices between conventional and specialty eggs

• Empower our community with real data to make smarter shopping decisions

How It Works

I've created a simple Google Form that takes 1 minute to fill out whenever you spot egg prices while shopping. The data will feed into a public dashboard that I’ll publish on StumptownSavings.com which shows:

• Price trends over time

• Best deals of the week

• Store-by-store comparisons

Want to submit prices in bulk? Snap photos of the egg prices (and the cartons to capture the details) at the store and email them with some details like date take, which store you were at and which location and I’ll add the prices to the dataset for you!
